wpml.org
MonstersPost: Without mentioning your product, tell us what problem you’re trying to solve.
Wpml: Make it possible to build multilingual websites with WordPress
MonstersPost: What was your first sale/customer like?
Wpml: It was very encouraging. We moved WPML from being a free “donation-based” product to a commercial product and we were all relieved to see that people are happy to pay in order to get a stable and well-supported plugin.
MonstersPost: How did your product/website look in its first version? What makes it different from the latest?
Wpml: It wasn’t much different than its looks today. Of course, over time we made our site look more modern and nicer, but the overall concept and message haven’t changed since we started the project.
MonstersPost: What is the most valuable question someone has asked you about your company or your product?
Wpml: What does it do?
MonstersPost: How would you describe the style of your company in a few words?
Wpml: We’re building reliable WordPress plugins for mass market usage.
MonstersPost: Could you tell us about one of the funniest support requests you’ve ever received?
Wpml: We get lots of support questions, but I think that clients would prefer if they stayed in our system.
MonstersPost: Your customers probably don’t understand something simple about your product. What is it?
Wpml: A few years ago, we kept telling clients that machine translation is not reliable enough. In the past couple of years, this has changed a lot, but some clients still consider machine translation as a waste of time. Today, this has changed a lot, and using machine translation as a basis of their work could save many clients a lot of time.
MonstersPost: What two things would you “steal like an artist” from your competitors?
Wpml: Usually, competitors steal like artists from us
MonstersPost: Can you tell me about some of the products you love and why? It may be design, product, tech, business strategy, etc., that you admire and aspire to.
Wpml: I like metro services, all over the world. They are big infrastructure projects that solve a huge problem for many people. If we can build things at such a scale and solve such big problems, we make everyone’s life so much better. This shows that good products, that solve real problems, sell – even without a lot of marketing or advertising spending.
MonstersPost: Are there any key milestones you would like to reach in the next year?
Wpml: Yes. We’re building a new product, outside of the WordPress ecosystem, which extends WPML. I’ll be satisfied if we can start selling it by the end of 2023.
MonstersPost: What impact did the events of 2022 have on your company?
Wpml: We’ve grown a lot in 2022 because more stuff went online. As we grew, we insisted on staying efficient and we are continuing to grow today.
MonstersPost: Do you have any advice or wishes for Monster’s Award 2023 participants?
Wpml: I’d only like to send my gratitude to everyone who participated and to the people who voted for us.
bdthemes.com
MonstersPost: Without mentioning your product, tell us what problem you’re trying to solve.
Bdthemes: Thanks for asking this question. What we are doing here is empowering people with innovative tools that help make their web journey as a web designer or web developer more exciting, less burdensome, and even easier. You already know that designing a website is a ton of work and there are not enough tools or features against the huge number of design ideas. To help our users create multi-dynamic landing pages easily, we teamed up with Elementor and took out the most necessary and many extra features to give mobility to our users to design better, more precise, and win against the competition.
MonstersPost: What was your first sale/customer like?
Bdthemes: Well, our first sale was generated from the very first plugin, Element Pack Pro for Elementor, back in 2018. It was a very wonderful moment for everyone in my company. The product was relatively new and there were still many features missing which we added not much later than the first sale. I mean, we were truly privileged to have such customers at our start. They appreciated our work, the plugin, and our customer service and shared many improvement points which helped us improve further. It was a moment when we knew that we were on track, even though we had not adapted any marketing strategies. It was great in a word.
MonstersPost: How did your product/website look in its first version? What makes it different from the latest?
Bdthemes: Both the first version website and the latest version website are built with our own product. Due to that, the previous website was a lot simpler, less attractive, lower number of features, and was loading slowly. We used most of our features on the live site to show our users what they are going to buy. But honestly, compared to the features available back in 2018, the actual site came out pretty good and rivaled some of the finest crafts and themes. Till today people will find our websites more amazing than most themes and templates. With better designs implemented on each feature from our products, the sites became richer with aesthetics and features.
MonstersPost: What is the most valuable question someone has asked you about your company or your product?
Bdthemes: That’s a very good question. Not one but a lot of people asked us about what we are doing unique compared to the competition. It’s a very valid question and also the core point of our mission. The user experience we are offering with our plugin provides the most simplified, original, and trouble-free user interface. From the beginning, we kept our product within the grasp of beginner users and not sacrificing options for web design masters. I think we did a great job in this part.
MonstersPost: How would you describe the style of your company in a few words?
Bdthemes: What kind of style? If you are talking about the style of our internal operation handling, I can say we are pretty much well-occupied in our roles. We have separate divisions for developers, web designers, graphic designers, marketing operators & content writers, video creators, and HR management. A strong bonding kept all our manpower close to each other, regardless of their roles. It’s a rollercoaster of product development that moves from one corner of the office to another. Everybody has a part to play in making our products better for the users.
MonstersPost: Could you tell us about one of the funniest support requests you’ve ever received?
Bdthemes: You just had to ask it. There are a lot of them actually. The funniest support request we got was for Mailchimp and Elementor Pro. Not just because of the naming similarities, but we allow 3rd-party integration which some users accidentally comprehend as a 3rd-party support vendor. Sometimes, we get taken by surprise due to how convinced the user is about our support system for a plugin that we don’t own. I mean, there are lots of fun things in the support part.
MonstersPost: Your customers probably don’t understand something simple about your product. What is it?
Bdthemes: It’s the number of design possibilities. In our case, we made our products to allow users to create any type of web design that they can think of. But we are still lacking in the demonstration part where we can show our users a variety of awesome design senses that are possible with our product. Due to some sort of manpower shortage on our end, we are hardly keeping up with new trendy designs, let alone producing more demonstrations for unique and uncommon designs. We will be getting our hands on this matter soon.
MonstersPost: What two things would you “steal like an artist” from your competitors?
Bdthemes: This is a bit awkward to say. If I would answer it, I would say I want to “steal” my competitor’s product demo designs and unique names for plugins. I already told you about the shortage of demonstration elements. Also, we are used to naming our products based on random name generators, which actually made our plugin names a bit odd. It’s not like we did not have any passion for our plugins, it’s just that naming is the only thing we lack right now. So yeah, that’s all.
MonstersPost: Can you tell me about some of the products you love and why? It may be design, product, tech, business strategy, etc., that you admire and aspire to.
Bdthemes: Haha, I love all of the products developed at my company. I mean, I feel no disparity among them. But if I need to select one of the 5 major products, I would be choosing Element Pack. Why? Because it’s a complete thing. The plugin has all the things you need to create fully unique and awesome websites from scratch, no matter which niches they belong to.
Also, I am impressed with how our Ultimate Post Kit, a plugin dedicated to designing blogs, came out as an exceptional plugin we ever created. This one has a whole bunch of truly magnificent blog design elements. On top of being unique, the features let users customize as they want to.
MonstersPost: Are there any key milestones you would like to reach in the next year?
Bdthemes: Yes, we have a milestone of launching a dedicated plugin for design for Gutenberg as well as our own template external template library. We are working on both projects right now and hoping for a greater response from the WordPress user community. Also, we plan on reaching out to 300,000 unique users this year. Fingers crossed!
MonstersPost: What impact did the events of 2022 have on your company?
Bdthemes: Mostly positive I would say. The year 2022 was both a curse and a blessing for us. In the beginning, we lost a huge amount of traffic, and sales dropped to zero for almost several months. The struggle went on for about 4-6 months and then suddenly, all our stats rose again. The Q4 events brought us many great achievements in 2022 and we are hoping for even greater possibilities in 2023. So, it was a mixed journey and a really important one for improving our whole company.
MonstersPost: Do you have any advice or wishes for Monster’s Award 2023 participants?
Bdthemes: I would personally suggest doing everything you need to do for the users only. Forget about profit, and sales data, and only focus on making the product more user-friendly and alluring enough to appear nicely in front of the customers. Later, you won’t finish counting the profits earned by this positivity.
But lastly, I would to huge thank you to our customers who loved and gave voted for the prime slider.

theplusblocks.com
MonstersPost: Without mentioning your product, tell us what problem you’re trying to solve.
Theplusblocks: We are committed to enhancing the WordPress Ecosystem by making Gutenberg, formerly known as the Block Editor, not only the default editor but also the most popular and beloved choice. In order to bring this vision to life, we are investing in the Gutenberg platform, providing the missing pieces to the WordPress puzzle that will allow users to take advantage of its full capabilities. To those who were previously unimpressed with Gutenberg, this is the solution they have been waiting for.
MonstersPost: What was your first sale/customer like?
Theplusblocks: The moment I’ll never forget was when we launched the beta version of our plugin, The Plus Addons for Gutenberg. As a company, we already had a flagship product, The Plus Addons for Elementor, which was active on over 80,000 websites. This particular user was looking to migrate to the Gutenberg editor as it was now fully integrated into the WordPress core. He tried out our plugin and was incredibly impressed by how easy and intuitive it was to use. It was a true “Eureka!” moment for our team, as we knew we had found the solution to making the Gutenberg editor accessible to all. The user was so impressed that he immediately upgraded to our premium version of the plugin. It was an incredibly rewarding experience to know that our hard work had paid off and that we were on the brink of having a significant impact on the WordPress community.
MonstersPost: How did your product/website look in its first version? What makes it different from the latest?
Theplusblocks: When we first launched version 1 of The Plus Addons for Gutenberg, we knew it had potential but we also knew there was room for improvement. We received valuable feedback from our users, who loved the plugin but also shared constructive suggestions for how we could make it even better. Thanks to the support of our amazing community, we were able to take their insights and start implementing changes.
In version 2, we are focusing heavily on performance, reworking the code to reduce dependencies and streamline the plugin’s overall performance. We understand that our users value performance and we want to ensure that our plugin delivers the perfect blend of features and speed.
We don’t wish to create just another block in the market with limited settings in the name of performance. Web design is evolving with creative designs and our creative designers are looking for a change. We can’t wait for our users to see the improvements we’ve made, and we’re confident that they will be impressed by the performance gains in version 2.
MonstersPost: What is the most valuable question someone has asked you about your company or your product?
Theplusblocks: We are incredibly grateful for every question that our users ask us, as it helps us to identify areas where we can improve. One particular conversation that stands out in my mind, which was unrelated to the product was a live chat conversation with a user who asked, “Did you take a rest?” This was a heartwarming moment for our support team, as it showed that our users care about our well-being and are invested in our success.
To ensure that our team remains energized and productive, I personally take care no one faces burnout or overwork. We make sure that everyone takes regular breaks and has the opportunity to recharge. We are passionate about providing exceptional service to our users, and we are always here to chat and answer any questions you may have.
MonstersPost: How would you describe the style of your company in a few words?
Theplusblocks: “At our company, we prioritize the well-being and satisfaction of our team members above all else. We believe that by creating a positive and supportive work environment, our team is able to produce their best work and deliver exceptional results to our customers.
We take a holistic approach to our business, considering the impact on all stakeholders and taking a human-centered approach to decision-making. It’s not about doing more work, but yielding the best quality of work, which only occurs when the mind is in its best state. We are dedicated to constantly improving and innovating, while also maintaining a balance of work and life.
MonstersPost: Could you tell us about one of the funniest support requests you’ve ever received?
Theplusblocks: This incident happened a few years back when we were working on Envato with WordPress Themes in different niches. One person bought our WordPress Theme called, The Passion WordPress Theme, It was made for the Entertainment Industry, specifically for Movie Production Houses and the like. Her request was simple, “I want the existing website to look just like the demo of your theme with a single click.” After a few back and forths, she sent us a screen recording of an Android application from her phone and said, “See how this mobile application’s theme options have changed my phone’s whole layout and stuff, Why your theme can’t do that same thing for my WordPress Website?” We tried to explain that theme change is different in Android and WordPress, but she just wouldn’t accept it.
Finally, after a week of discussion, she reluctantly agreed, but not before giving us a new idea for our next theme. And that’s how we ended up inventing the Global Colors, Global Typography, Global Spacing, and Global Box Shadows options. As Plato said, “Necessity is the mother of invention.”
MonstersPost: Your customers probably don’t understand something simple about your product. What is it?
Theplusblocks: We understand that our users may have concerns about the impact of our many blocks and features on website performance. Rest assured, our code is modular, which means that only the blocks that are used will be loaded, thus minimizing any potential impact on performance. Additionally, we have implemented a one-click block scanner feature that automatically scans all the blocks used on a website and disables any that are not in use.
We also want to remind users that Gutenberg is still a work in progress, and users may need to be patient for it to reach full stability and user-friendliness, which is a major dependency on our addon. We are committed to making the website-building experience as smooth as possible, and we will continue to improve and evolve our products over time.
MonstersPost: What two things would you “steal like an artist” from your competitors?
Theplusblocks: To put it very directly at the moment we don’t have any competitors, We are proud to be innovators in the WordPress block addon community by introducing a new series of blocks for the Gutenberg editor. Our blocks are designed with the latest web design patterns in mind and offer unparalleled customization options. We consistently receive positive feedback from our customers, who have told us that our blocks are something they’ve been waiting for and that they can’t find anything similar on the market.
While we appreciate the efforts of other block plugin developers, we believe that our unique approach sets us apart and offers a truly unique experience for users. We’re excited to continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with Gutenberg and to help users take their website design to the next level.
MonstersPost: Can you tell me about some of the products you love and why? It may be design, product, tech, business strategy, etc., that you admire and aspire to.

- Semrush – For SEO and Marketing works;
- Publer – For Social Media management;
- GetGist – For Livechat management.
MonstersPost: Are there any key milestones you would like to reach in the next year?
Theplusblocks: Our focus is not solely on achieving numerical milestones, but rather on making a meaningful impact on the WordPress community. Our ultimate goal is to see a more diverse and creative representation of websites built on WordPress.
Every other blog in WordPress looks similar to each other. We want to break away from the cookie-cutter templates that are so prevalent and help users establish their own unique online presence through better branding and presentation.
Additionally, we aim to reach 50,000 active websites by the end of the year and ensure that all of our users have a high level of website performance as measured by Webvitals, with scores of 90 or higher.
Furthermore, we want to empower users with the ability to build websites without the need for any coding experience using core WordPress page builder.
With this, we hope to bring about a true no-code revolution in website building and democratize the website-building process.
MonstersPost: What impact did the events of 2022 have on your company?
Theplusblocks: 2022 was a year of pushing the boundaries to create the best. We worked on assembling the best marketing team (PS: We’re hiring marketing people now). We were committed to providing a seamless experience for users of both Elementor and the Block Editor in WordPress. We are eagerly anticipating 2023 and the opportunities it holds for us to continue innovating and growing.
MonstersPost: Do you have any advice or wishes for Monster’s Award 2023 participants?
Theplusblocks: We are incredibly grateful to the Monster Award Team for providing an amazing platform for WordPress plugins to be recognized and celebrated. We strongly encourage all WordPress plugin developers, regardless of the size of their user base, to participate in this competition with the same level of enthusiasm.
Taking part in the event is not just about winning, it’s about the opportunity to showcase your hard work and receive valuable feedback from the community. We would like to extend a special thank you to Tatiana Murray for her efforts in coordinating everything so well.
motion.page
MonstersPost: Without mentioning your product, tell us what problem you’re trying to solve.
Motion: Imagine a world where you have to edit videos using only the text editor. That would be pretty crazy. Motion effects for the web are not that different when it comes to the creation process, and the industry faced this issue for a long time. Animations had to be coded using JavaScript without any visual GUI, which makes it harder to approach for beginners, and hard to design straight off the bat. We made a no-code animation platform focused on designers to help bridge the gap between the designing and development process and to provide this skill to a wide range of users, even with zero coding skills.
MonstersPost: What was your first sale/customer like?
Motion: Before the release of version 1.0, we started by hyping up the product in our communities and teasing customers with sneak peeks. We had almost three thousand emails on the waitlist, and one guy confidently said he would be our first customer. It sounded a bit funny, as it seemed almost impossible with the number of users waiting for it. After a couple of weeks, we released the plugin, and one minute later, this guy indeed made a purchase and was our first customer!
MonstersPost: How did your product/website look in its first version? What makes it different from the latest?
Motion: We’ve made hundreds of changes to the plugin since our official v1.0 release, redesigned the site, hired two guys, and so on. We’ve added many of the most requested features, and continue doing so. The user’s feedback is our top priority, and all features we make are based on their requests and suggestions.
MonstersPost: What is the most valuable question someone has asked you about your company or your product?
Motion: Helping us with the decision to grow as a team. I personally struggled for a long time with this decision and felt that we can handle it all. Getting more team members was definitely the best decision we could make.
MonstersPost: How would you describe the style of your company in a few words?
Motion: Young, fun, and innovative.
MonstersPost: Could you tell us about one of the funniest support requests you’ve ever received?
Motion: There was this french girl who messaged us on our live chat support, asking for a discount. We wanted to keep it fair for everybody, so we didn’t want to give out any unofficial discount. She didn’t want that to let go, so she went all in and sent us a photo of her uncovered legs, with the pet rabbit covering just the necessary (disclaimer: we didn’t ask for it)! LOL
MonstersPost: Your customers probably don’t understand something simple about your product. What is it?
Motion: There is a stigma in the WordPress community that plugins are heavy and you should only use them as a last resort. While this may be true in many cases, Motion.page only adds the clean code and conditionally loads it only on pages where needed. Some users may feel that they wouldn’t install Motion.page if they only need one or two interactions on the site, but there is no reason not to use it even in such cases. The result will be perfectly clean and the same as hand-coded.
MonstersPost: What two things would you “steal like an artist” from your competitors?
Motion: WebFlow’s user base is full of fantastic artists and designers, which is still kind of lacking in the WP ecosystem. If we could, we would “steal” their users and their creativity, and bring them to WP.
MonstersPost: Can you tell me about some of the products you love and why? It may be design, product, tech, business strategy, etc., that you admire and aspire to.
Motion: I love the marketing and copywriting of DBrand, they are super cool! I am also a big fan of new technologies, so I love what ChatGPT and MidJourney are doing.
MonstersPost: Are there any key milestones you would like to reach in the next year?
Motion: To have a standalone version, that will be available for any site, platform, and technology on the web.
MonstersPost: What impact did the events of 2022 have on your company?
Motion: 2022 was full of new achievements and experiences, and showed us that this project makes a lot of sense for the future state of web design. We started just in November 2021, so it’s just the beginning. We are grateful for all events that happened around our project, and are keen to bring so much more in the future!
MonstersPost: Do you have any advice or wishes for Monster’s Award 2023 participants?
Motion: Big congratulations to all winners! Keep progressing like there’s no tomorrow.
piotnet.com
MonstersPost: Without mentioning your product, tell us what problem you’re trying to solve.
Pionet: Fast, light, flexible, and highly customizable WordPress plugins, special in form building. WordPress users are bloated with too many plugins; we just want to bring light solutions for them.
MonstersPost: What was your first sale/customer like?
Pionet: It is when you know you are valuable and could contribute value to the community.
MonstersPost: How did your product/website look in its first version? What makes it different from the latest?
Pionet: I want to talk about our products. In the first version of Piotnet addons for Elementor and Piotnet Forms, we focus on functions and features. Therefore, the plugins are quite hard to use and not users friendly. Until now, we have changed a lot, the products are much more mature and have great UX/UI. Besides, there are many more functions and features than the first versions.
MonstersPost: What is the most valuable question someone has asked you about your company or your product?
Pionet: I don’t think I could answer this. There are many great questions from our users. They raise some concerns which help us to improve our products and business.
MonstersPost: How would you describe the style of your company in a few words?
Pionet: Focus on goals and targets. We skip all the fancy kinds of stuff and just do what we think is effective.
MonstersPost: Could you tell us about one of the funniest support requests you’ve ever received?
Pionet: I cannot remember any funny requests, so I will just tell you about a memorable one.
There was one guy who we support a lot. One day he sent a request just to invite us for a cup of coffee. We supposed he might want to spend some bucks. However, we were wrong, because he truly come to our office and buy us coffee. He is from a country that is thousands of kilometers from Vietnam, so we were quite of surprise and impressed that our user truly represents here.
MonstersPost: Your customers probably don’t understand something simple about your product. What is it?
Pionet: We have Piotnet Addons for Elementor, Piotnet Forms, Piotnet Grid, and Piotnet Bricks. The plugins are for different works, but they have some similar features. Our users sometimes get confused between the products.
MonstersPost: What two things would you “steal like an artist” from your competitors?
Pionet: In some ways, I think we “steal” a lot from our competitors. What they are doing better, we just learn from them to improve ourselves.
MonstersPost: Can you tell me about some of the products you love and why? It may be design, product, tech, business strategy, etc., that you admire and aspire to.
Pionet: I really love Elementor and Bricks. These two are the best page builders around. One is the market leader; the other is young and innovative. You can say they are Goliath and David on the field.
MonstersPost: Are there any key milestones you would like to reach in the next year?
Pionet: We are going to release new products. Hope you will like them.
MonstersPost: What impact did the events of 2022 have on your company?
Pionet: 2022 is really a bad year for many businesses. The world finance downgrade and the Ukraine war made things difficult. We are not an exception. Hopefully, 2023 is a better year.
MonstersPost: Do you have any advice or wishes for Monster’s Award 2023 participants?
Pionet: No matter if you are an Award winner or not, being voted by your users is already a victory.
mrwebreviews
MonstersPost: Without mentioning your product, tell us what problem you’re trying to solve.
Mrwebreviews: We help people build their online presence mainly in the form of websites or any other web projects.
MonstersPost: What was your first sale/customer like?
Mrwebreviews: To find clients we decided to start prospecting over the phone. After a few calls, someone showed interest. It was a startup company that was selling “trendy nails” that wanted an ecommerce website but didn’t have a big budget. We were happy to get our first client and they were happy to get a bargain. Their website turned out to be very successful and generated loads of sales. Happy beginnings indeed.
MonstersPost: How did your product/website look in its first version? What makes it different from the latest?
Mrwebreviews: We’ve had different websites over the years. For our latest one mrweb.tv we decided to go with something simple and clean. Sometimes less is more…

Mrwebreviews: Friendly, Customer-focused, Dynamic, and Responsive
MonstersPost: Could you tell us about one of the funniest support requests you’ve ever received?

MonstersPost: Your customers probably don’t understand something simple about your product. What is it?
Mrwebreviews: We build websites using WordPress, which has a moderate learning curve. Sometimes it’s not that obvious how to handle orders or make changes to their content from their admin panel. Sadly, not much we can do about that apart from showing them a few times.
MonstersPost: What two things would you “steal like an artist” from your competitors?
Mrwebreviews:
- Their approach to content creation, such as their focus on storytelling
- Their approach to lead generation
MonstersPost: Can you tell me about some of the products you love and why? It may be design, product, tech, business strategy, etc., that you admire and aspire to.
Mrwebreviews: We LOVE building custom online projects based on a client’s specific personal requirements. Basically building solutions that are NOT YET available on the market. These are the most challenging projects, hence why we LOVE them so much.

siteground.com
MonstersPost: Without mentioning your product, tell us what problem you’re trying to solve.
Siteground: Fine-tuning WordPress to be faster and more secure with a few clicks and settings for both novice and experienced users.
MonstersPost: What was your first sale/customer like?
Siteground: Our first users were all SiteGround clients since both our SiteGround Security Plugin (Gold Monsters Award winner) and SiteGround Optimizer Plugin(Silver Monsters Award Winner) were initially developed to optimize WordPress sites hosted on SiteGround servers, to help make everyone perform WordPress speed and security optimizations with big impact easily. Consequently, we saw such improvement in the performance in both regards, that we decided to develop the plugins to work on any hosting platform for all WordPress users for free, regardless of where they choose to host their sites.
MonstersPost: How did your product/website look in its first version? What makes it different from the latest?
Siteground: In the beginning, our SiteGround Optimizer plugin was developed for our hosting platform specifically, but over the years we were getting inquiries about how websites non-hosted on SiteGround could benefit from it. This is why we decided to offer the Optimizer plugin completely free for all WordPress users regardless of their hosting provider. Following this example, in 2021 we launched the SiteGround Security plugin that is available for free for all users from the very beginning.
MonstersPost: What is the most valuable question someone has asked you about your company or your product?
Siteground: “What will you do next?” Because we’re constantly looking for what new tool or service we can launch or improve on to help more WordPress users manage their online presence more easily and effectively, so we are always thinking ahead and working on the next big thing.
MonstersPost: How would you describe the style of your company in a few words?
Siteground: Work with purpose, innovate through technology, and raise the bar of what’s possible in our industry.
MonstersPost: Could you tell us about one of the funniest support requests you’ve ever received?
Siteground: A client proposed marriage to our WordPress team lead after a superbly-handled support request
MonstersPost: Your customers probably don’t understand something simple about your product. What is it?
Siteground: Both great performance and security cannot be achieved by a single action, plugin, or option. If you want to have a well-performing, secure website you need to adopt good practices. It’s a process of maintaining and improving the quality of your pages. We’re doing our best to make cutting-edge technology easily available but a website is never “done” – it needs your ongoing care to grow and progress!
MonstersPost: What two things would you “steal like an artist” from your competitors?
Siteground: We are usually driven by the needs of our own clients, not by what the competition does. But we try to make complex things simple, so if we’re ever inspired by another product, it would probably be how to simplify ours even further to empower more people.
MonstersPost: Can you tell me about some of the products you love and why? It may be design, product, tech, business strategy, etc., that you admire and aspire to.
Siteground: Our whole team at SiteGround, being firm believers in using our power to drive positive change, has always been very impressed by the work and dedication of the clothing brand Patagonia to taking care of the environment and doing work in support of our Planet. It’s a great example to follow.
MonstersPost: Are there any key milestones you would like to reach in the next year?
Siteground: Surpassing 2 Million installations of the SiteGround Optimizer plugin, and 1 Million of its follower, the SiteGround Security plugin.
MonstersPost: What impact did the events of 2022 have on your company?
Siteground: We were heartbroken by some of the world events unfolding, so in addition to taking a stand for peace, and continued to do whatever we can to help use technology as a force for good, both in helping communities, societies, and even our Planet not only survive but thrive. Our initiative for planting the SiteGround Forest and supporting the first human-powered Antarctic rowing mission to help raise awareness to keep the marine ecosystem around Antarctica, which ended up holding 6 Guinness records, are just a few of the steps that we took in this direction.
MonstersPost: Do you have any advice or wishes for Monster’s Award 2023 participants?
